    Product Description

    4075S Solid Poplar Plain Box Newel posts are designed to work as a starting, landing or intermediate newel and pairs well with the 4091, 4092 and 4375 box newel posts.  Newel is 3-1/2 inch x 58 inch. Custom sizes are available on a per job quote.   Poplar is the best choice for a paint grade newel with its tight grain and economical cost.  It can also be stained dark to match walnut, mahogany and Brazilian cherry hardwoods.

    The 4075S Solid Plain Box Newels are solid core, not hollow.

    Item generally ships in about 2 to 3 business days. Also available fluted or construction with lock mitered corners. Half-newels are non-stocked and made to order, with two to three lead time to ship, FOB Ohio.  Please note that half-newels cannot be returned.  When ordering half newels, the cost is the full newel post with splitting costs.  Qty 1 half-newel is a pair, or two halves.

Claims for shortages must be made within one (1) day after shipment received. Customer must count boxes, approve and sign receiver from transportation company. RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS Special orders or nonstandard products are not subject to return or cancellation if special raw material purchase and/or production has been initiated. All returns of non-defective goods must be in new resale able condition, shipped prepaid, and are subject to a 25% handling and restocking charge. Any parts having been altered or otherwise modified may not be returned. Returns are limited to stock purchased within the last 30 calendar day (No exceptions).
