    Product Description

    ARP-4092 Poplar Actual Raised Panel Box Newel posts have a pedestal size of 7-1/2 inches and an overall length of 55 inches".  Hardwood wall is 3/4" with the main shank at 6". Custom sizes are available on a per job quote.   Poplar is the best choice for a paint grade newel with its tight grain and economical cost.  It can also be stained dark to match walnut, mahogany and Brazilian cherry hardwoods.

    The ARP-4092 Actual Raised Panel Box Newels are made with lock mitered corners, which means they have no end grains, developing elegance. Panels are "actual raised panels" which are done with styles and rails common to cabinet doors, creating sharp 45-degree corners.

    Optional half-sawn box newel post available with an 8 to 10 business day lead time to ship, FOB Ohio.  Half-newels cannot be returned.

SHIPPING Stair Part orders are shipped to the customer from the manufacturer's warehouse or the manufacturer of a specific style. Please note that Westfire is not responsible for delayed, lost or damaged freight. CLAIMS Claims for shortages, breakage or damage must be made directly with the transportation company. Claims for shortages must be made within one (1) day after shipment received. Customer must count boxes, approve and sign receiver from transportation company. RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS Special orders or nonstandard products are not subject to return or cancellation if special raw material purchase and/or production has been initiated. All returns of non-defective goods must be in new resaleable condition, shipped prepaid, and are subject to a 30% handling and restocking charge. Any "custom" or non-stocked item (items made to order) cannot be returned. Any parts having been altered or otherwise modified may not be returned. Returns are limited to stock purchased within the last 30 calendar day (No exceptions).
