    Product Description

    F-4092 Poplar Fluted Box Newel posts have a pedestal size of 7-1/2" inches and an overall length of 55 inches.  Pedestal wall is 3/4 inch with the main shank of 6 inch.  The F-4092 box newel can be used as a starting, intermediate or landing newel post.  It's primary function is a starting newel because of its size.  Half-Sawn newels are non-stocked and made to order with an 8 to 10 business day lead time to ship, FOB Ohio.  Please note that half-newels cannot be returned. 

    The F-4092 Fluted Box Newels are made with lock mitered corners, which means they have no end grains, developing elegance.

    This item generally ships in about 2 to 3 business days.  Poplar box newels are in stock and ready to ship.

    Poplar works as a stain grade or is the best choice if paint your newel.  Poplar's tight grain allows for a smooth painted finish.  For staining, poplar is ideal in matching walnut, mahogany and Brazilian cherry colors.

Claims for shortages must be made within one (1) day after shipment received. Customer must count boxes, approve and sign receiver from transportation company. RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS Special orders or nonstandard products are not subject to return or cancellation if special raw material purchase and/or production has been initiated. All returns of non-defective goods must be in new resaleable condition, shipped prepaid, and are subject to a 30% handling and restocking charge. Any "custom" or non-stocked item (items made to order) cannot be returned. Any parts having been altered or otherwise modified may not be returned. Returns are limited to stock purchased within the last 30 calendar day (No exceptions).
