Special species trim is a primed Actual Flat Panel Box Newel with any desired hardwood cap and trim. You can select the desired wood species when ordering, such as red oak, hard maple, walnut, hickory, mahogany, Brazilian or American cherry, white oak, soft maple, beech, birch or even poplar.
Shipped one Actual Flat Panel Box Newel post to a box. Primed box newels are non-stocked and generally ship in 3-4 weeks, FOB Ohio. Primer is a Sherwin-Williams product and will accept any type of paint. Also available as a half-sawn box newel post for handrail terminations at the wall.
